Two weeks ago I informed Jayne and Jenn of some very exciting (and kinda sad) news.... I am moving to Taunton. My resignation has not yet been accepted and plans for me to work at Colorful Creations and sleep at the Island are in full effect as we speak. I'm really excited and looking forward to a change ... but it would be a total lie if I said I wasn't super bummed to be moving an additional 30-45 minutes away from my most favorite scrapbook store of all time.
This spring my Gram moved into a facility in Attleboro when we decided that it was no longer safe for her to be living alone. It sucked. I cried. I still cry about it. In a perfect world I would have just moved in with her and we could have hung out and did Grama-type things (because ... if you didn't know ... I'm turning in to quite the little Nana). But alas, there was no way I would have been able to give her the care that she needs.

She loves where she's at right now and that makes me happy. And I kinda love her house... so that's where I'll be living in the near future. After some calculating and planning and discussing with my Aunt we came to the conclusion that this is something I can swing, so swing I will :)
World, meet my *soontobe* new residence. It's where I spent all of my Christmas mornings when I was little. It's where my Gram taught me how to knit every single week because I could never remember. It's where my freaking parents got married.
This is the living room. The flowers will be going bye bye ... haha. That recliner in the middle has been gifted to a friend. The baby pictures of my brother, sister, and I will be staying up because I love them.

I think that since plain chipboard puzzles sell so well at the store, we should start selling puzzles of Pat and I. It's pure gold Jayne, pure gold.
Um, I kinda love that she kept this.
I'm pretty sure that this couch is the main reason I want to move into the house. I am in love with it. Seriously.

Sewing machine. If this still works I might just cry tears of joy.
I guess I didn't take as many pictures as I thought that I had... oh well. I plan to head up there this weekend and move some stuff around and maybe even paint my bedroom. Exciting stuff :)

Say it ain't so . . . How am I gonna get my Erin "fix?" You sound very happy. I'm not. Geographically, does this mean you can visit Gram regularly? If so, then I accept your move. If not, then WTF?!?

Nice digs Erin. I can understand your enthusiam and happiness but it don't make me happy. In fact, right now I'm really sad. I'll miss you when I don't have you to greet me when I walk into the store.
