Day three of best week ever. My plan is to get my craft on and create a mini book for Pat's birthday which I probably won't finish today. I've got until Saturday, right? We're heading out for PAUL McCARTNEY (!!!) around 3:30ish. Since when has a show started at 6:30pm? That seems a little early to me.... but anyways. I am SO excited. It's a family event plus Tommy. Let's be honest though, Tommy pretty much is family. This is my second Paul McCartney show and I'm sure it will make the "Top 5 shows I've ever been to" list. Seriously, the last time I saw him was mindblowing. My Gram is coming with us to the show tonight too. It's really cool to experience something like this with my seventy-five year old grandmother. Here's a little-known fact about me: I gave up my ticket to what would have been my first McCartney show so that BOTH of my Grams could go. My Gramma Louise had been going back and forth on whether she wanted to go or not and last minute decided she was in. My Mom said that about an hour into the set she turned to her and said "Diane, I think I know this song!" Ridiculous. I really hope that I'll be half as cool as they are when I'm pushing 80. Something tells me that it's in my genes ;)
Enjoy! *Hopefully* I'll be posting some pictures tomorrow from tonight.
I have been mia for a while now. But do not fear - I am back. I've been having quite the summer. Parties and a few shows (not nearly as many as last summer which makes me sad) and some other adventures have been keeping me busy. I'm pretty excited for this week. I have decided that the one word to describe it is going to be "legendary" (weeds? anyone?) Monday nights are my favorite and last night did not disappoint. My plans for today are to work until 7 and then come home to finish up a birthday gifty for my baby-brother-who-is-turning-22-on-saturday-and-making-me-feel-old.
I'll blog tomorrow! Promise! Updates on the best week ever! Until then, I'll try not to be so whack :)
